Our shooting assignment this weekend was autumn. I took this photo at a pumpkin patch. Pumpkins represent autumn as they are used for halloween and decorations in houses. To bring out the warm fall tones I turned up the temperature and tint +7. I also slightly turned up the contrast to make the lights and darks balance off each other. I then turned up the vibrance to make the bright oranges and greens pop. As there is one white pumpkin I wanted it to stand out so I turned up the whites.
I also took this photo of red leaves because one of my favourite things in the fall is to look at all the different colours of leaves that change. To bring out the beautiful colours I turned the temperature up to +20 and the tint to +40. I also turned up the contrast to +40 to contrast the reds and greens. To make it brighter and vibrant I turned the vibrancy up to +22 and the saturation to +7.
Finally, I took this photo of Mia surrounded by beautiful green trees and leaves. I really enjoy how her hat pops contrasts with the greens in the photo. I first slightly turned up the temperature and tint. Then I turned the exposure up to +55 and contrast to +37. The highlights were brought up to +40 to make them brighter, shadows up to +32, whites down to -6 and blacks up to +53 to make all the darker colours more noticeable.
