Our shooting assignment this weekend was pets. Sadly I do not have any pets so I went to my neighbours house and my friend Haley's house and photographed their dogs. For this photo the lighting was already very natural with sunlight. So I first white balanced and lens corrected the photo. After that, I turned the tint down to -20 to bring out the grass. I also turned down the shadows to -16. I also turned up the vibrance to +9. As I was already pleased with the lighting in this photo that was all I did to fix it.
This photo was originally a little noisy and dark. I put them against light walls as they have very dark fur. I first white balanced and lens corrected. I turned the temp up to +12. I also turned the exposure up to +.50 to contrast the fur and wall. I also turned up the whites to +23 and blacks down to -25. I turned the clarity up to +8, vibrance to +19, and saturation to +7 to lighten up the photo.
As the first photo I took it in the same lighting. So, like always, I first white balanced and lens corrected. I turned the temp down to -4 and tint down to -9. I also turned the exposure down to -.25. I also turned the highlights down to -19 as some of her fur was a lot lighter than other parts. To bring out other parts of her fur I turned the whites up to +23 and blacks down to -22. Lastly, I turned the vibrance up to +14 and saturation to +8 to make colours pop.
